Druid Hills Presbyterian Church

Æolian-Skinner 3M/39R

The Æolian-Skinner organ was originally installed in 1940 and graces one of the more elegant Presbyterian Churches in downtown Atlanta. The organ was designed and finished by the noted Tonal Director of Æolian-Skinner, G. Donald Harrison. We are pleased to be respected and trusted by the church to provide renovations to the console on this significant instrument in Atlanta. The console received extensive mechanical renovations to correct problems with the keyboards and capture action. The existing console was fitted with new keyboards, drawknob and tilting tablet units. We retained the look and feel of the original Æolian-Skinner console design. The pedalboard was rebuilt in 2004, and the console was completed in early 2005.
