Recording Service

We are pleased to announce that we are now equipped to offer full, CD-quality recording services to our clients. These services cover the entire digital recording process, from capturing your performance to delivering a package of finished CDs or cassettes to you. (Our standard package assumes that you will obtain all necessary legal permissions. However, we will be happy to provide this service for an additional fee.) These recordings are an excellent idea for fund-raisers or as promotional recordings for your group.

Our approach to recording is minimalist. We begin by finding the spot in your performance hall where the music blends fully and clearly. We then use a matched pair of high-quality microphones (Earthworks TC30Ks) to capture your music exactly as it sounds at that spot in the room. This approach allows us to produce a professionally packaged compact disc or cassette that accurately reflects the sound of your performance in your performance space.

We would be happy to record your solo or ensemble performances, from a single performer to full choir with orchestra. We can capture recordings of live performances, or we can produce a "studio" recording in your performance hall. Please contact us today for a quote.
