2008, 2002
In 2008, the flamed copper façade of the Blakely tracker of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, Georgia, received new languids and new solder joints that had broken or had become weakened with age. In addition to the cosmetic aspects of this project, these repairs give the organ a better tone in the Great 8’ Principal allowing it to speak clearly and promptly thus giving more support to the choir and congregational singing.
Parkey OrganBuilders installed a new blower, wedge reservoirs and added concussion bellows in early 2002. A new Swell Division 8′ Oboe and a Pedal Division 16′ Trombone were also installed.
